My Pillow Book

Pillow books --distinctly Japanese construction of informal literature over a thousand years old. Pillow books were often filled with the miscellany of daily life in the ancient imperial courts of Japan.

"Between the extremes of street poverty and riches, there are people like me. In the margins. Drifting, drifitng,...I discovered that you can refuse something and still it stays with you."
--Whitney Otto A Collection of Beauties.

Here is my pillow book--the miscellany. splintered and fragmented. snapshots of my daily life. For your eyes only.
