well...what can i say.  I am busy from morning till dusk these days.  These first days of school.  These are the best days.  The kids still are interested in learning.  A process that is sure to come to a halt in a couple of weeks....but right now..they are curious, and excited.  They want to know everything.  Its fun to witness that enthusiasm.  Fun to be a part of that, and maybe even contribute to it.  But...i can also say that I am ready for the weekend. It seems that this first week has dragged on for an eternity. 

People are interesting, aren't they?  There is nothing more fun than observing people, and the choices they make.  That is one of the reasons that teaching is so fun.  Seeing the processes of young minds and how they come to conclusions and ideas.   The suprises....

well, anyway...just wanted to stop in and say hello.  I am listening to Badly Drawn Boy right now.  The sense of longing, and desire.....i think it makes the world go around.  we are longing....always longing....sehnsucht.  The most beautiful, and sad expression there is in.....desire, and our search for fufillment.
