well.....i was at walmart and went nuts. they have school supplies on sale. I bought 72 one subject spiral notebooks, 30 glue sticks, 5 bottles of glue, 4 boxes of crayons, 3 notebooks, 2 boxes of markers, some colored pencils.....i wouldn't be too suprised if i looked in the sack and found a partridge in a pear tree somewhere in there. it's the advent of fall....less than a week until the madness begins.
So.....the other day I was wearing my silk pajama pants....i woke up, and started plodding toward the kitchen towards my morning coffee....half awake, feet flapping.....well...i guess i should tell you that on the bottom of my left pant leg there is a rip in my pants....the piping is seperating from the pants...i was plodding, plodding, plodding when all of a sudden my big toe on my right foot inserts itself into the hole of my left pant leg...my feet and legs get twisted and no longer work..the feet move faster and faster trying to catch themselves.. and happening so quickly i don't even realize I fly into the air....yes...both feet leave the floor in an akward mess....i fly through the air unable to untangle my feet i land on my hardwood floor....not on my hands...not on my feet....but on my side....no cushioning the blow. Ouch! #$#$#$#$ I yell out. i lie there in agony and pain. No movement....just lying there.....trying to figure out what just happened....so well....i dusted myself off, got myself up, and started all over again...
clumsy me. almost as bad as the time i went to pet a kitten and tripped on a curb and broke my foot. well....you gotta laugh! If you can't laugh at yourself then life is awful tough, i say.
wow...maybe it is time to start trying to get some of those projects done that i wanted to do this summer....i have like four days left....probably would have been better to start two months ago.....but what's the fun in that?
